Yesterday I put the finishing touches on the heart quilt. I trimmed off the excess batting & backing and added a binding. Today I hand washed the quilt in the bath tub, rinsed it really well, squeezed out the excess water and stretched it to dry. The quilting is finally complete! I took the quilt off of the frame yesterday, and removed the outside faux border that I had added for quilting purposes. Today, hopefully, I can get the binding cut and added.
Now that I am finished quilting the blocks, the rest of the heart quilt is moving quickly. I have half of the top border complete and I am hoping to finish the rest of it today.
